Lviv will be officially 750 years old in September. The city spruced up some of the buildings in the old part of town and the Market Square has been under substantial renovation causing difficulties for the tourists who came to see the main square of Lviv and instead of outdoor cafes had to put up with the notice of the construction machinery. But the effort will be rewarded and soon the Markey square will open again boasting freshly renovated pavements and the statues of the ancient gods at each corner.

Festival “Lviv – the capital of handicrafts”. Participants: artists, folk craftsmen, blacksmiths, weavers, jewelers, stained-glass windowmakers, glassworks craftsmen, armourers, engravers, stonecutters. And also: batyk, folk toys, pysanka, embroidery, leather articles, etc.
